Tree Service Provider Directory
NOTE: Registrations for SDOT Tree Service Providers, that did not apply through the Portal or revise an existing SDCI registration to include an SDOT registration, expired on April 1, 2024.
To renew an expired SDOT Tree Service Provider Registration, please follow these steps:
- If your company is currently registered as a SDCI Tree Service Provider, submit a Revision Request. See How To Revise an Existing Tree Service Provider Registration.
- If your company is not registered as a SDCI Tree Service Provider, submit a new application. See How To Apply for the Tree Service Provider Registry.
This Tree Service Provider Directory is a list of providers who have met the registration requirements for the Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections (SDCI) registry for tree work on private property*, for the Seattle Department of Transportation’s (SDOT) registry for tree work in the public right-of-way**, or both.
- Below you will find each provider’s business name, services, registration number, and the department(s) with which they are registered. If the business name is in blue text, click on the name to visit their website.
- Click the blue circle to the left of the business name to see the business contact information.
- Use the search box to find specific providers or service types.
- To sort columns alphabetically, click on the grey arrow icon on the right of the column heading.
*For work on private property (SDCI Tree Service Providers), please note that only tree service providers with a current Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) may prepare tree risk assessments for hazardous tree removal. Contact a provider from the list below to find out if they offer TRAQ services.
**For work in the public right of way (SDOT Tree Service Providers), please note that there is currently no fee for tree permits, but Right of Way Use Permit fees may apply if heavy equipment must be staged in the right of way, or if there is a need for a traffic control plan review. Work on street trees requires a tree pruning/removal permit from SDOT Urban Forestry in addition to any Tree Service Provider registrations or an Annual Equipment Permits.
This directory only provides information about a tree service provider’s registration status. The City, SDCI and SDOT do not endorse the listed firms or assume liability for their services.
This directory updates every evening at 5:00 p.m.; it may take up to 48 hours from registration or renewal for a provider’s registration status to be refreshed.
