Request for Proposal: Outdoor Preschool Programs

Outdoor Preschool Programs in Seattle Parks

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for interested service providers seeking operation of outdoor preschool classrooms within six (6) preselected Seattle Parks.  These six parks include: Northacres Park, Carkeek Park, Jefferson Park, Be’er Sheva Park, Camp Long and Lincoln Park.

Opportunities for outdoor learning are strongly aligned with SPR’s mission to support healthy people, a thriving environment, and vibrant communities.   SPR will select the proposals that best address the goals and responsibilities described in this RFP.  The proposed license agreements will include a monthly fee based on program hours offered and calculated with potential for fee reduction by means of public benefit offset.

Questions can be directed to Katie Sifford at Katie.Sifford@seattle.gov anytime during the RFP timeline.  All questions and answers will be posted online for all applicants to view.  Virtual drop-in hours will be available via Microsoft Teams at the dates and times listed below:
