Accounting and Business Consulting
The Accounting and Business Consulting (ABC) program provides FREE one-on-one counseling to Seattle-based businesses seeking to re-establish operations after COVID-related disruption, and businesses wanting to scale and grow. Consulting services provided under the ABC Program will help small businesses implement sustainable financial solutions and assist with operational strategy that include but are not limited to:
- Bookkeeping and accounting guidance
- Business plan development
- Marketing plan assistance
- Cash flow management
- Loan readiness

Getting Started
Ventures is a Seattle-based nonprofit that empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with limited resources and unlimited potential. We provide access to business training, capital, coaching, and hands-on learning opportunities for entrepreneurs. We serve those in our community for whom traditional business development services are out of reach, with a focus on women, people of color, immigrants, and individuals with low income. Our ultimate goal is to support individuals to increase their income potential, achieve long-term financial stability, provide for their families, and enrich their communities through small business ownership.

The Gilkey Restaurant Consulting Group is a team of skilled industry professionals specializing in restaurant and hospitality consulting services having worked on hundreds of restaurants nationally, their talent as a consulting team is evident in the diversity of restaurant concepts they have successfully worked with: farm-to-table, artisan gastro pubs, Spanish tapas, French patisseries, Japanese sushi, Indian cuisine, modern Italian dishes, Alaskan seafood, and more. They have developed 1,500 square-foot fast-casual concepts, 4,500 square-foot casual full-service restaurants, and 10,000 square foot semi upscale restaurants. Kirsti Rochon Design (KRD) is a skilled graphic designer and marketing professional with 20+ years of experience working with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and internationally recognized entities in all aspects of print, branding, and web. Under the ABC Program, KRD will work with eligible participants to create a clean, eye-catching, and unique logo or a brand guide – an invaluable toolbox of recommended guidelines and suggested styles for using your logo consistently.
