Community Engagement Coordinators
Whether you want to connect with your neighborhood, learn more about City Services, or share an idea that will benefit your community, our team of Community Engagement Coordinators is here to help.
Our Community Engagement Coordinators work with Seattle residents to build strong, lasting relationships in their neighborhoods and beyond. Their goal is to make participation in civic life easier in the four areas that they cover: North, Central, West Seattle/South Park, and Southeast.
Contact all the Community Engagement Coordinators at once by emailing DON_CEC@seattle.gov or find their individual contact information in the sidebar.
What we can do for you and your community:
- Connect you and your community group with others who share common interests or concerns;
- Help neighborhood groups involve and engage all community members through inclusive outreach;
- Facilitate equitable discussions in your community to help neighbors problem-solve issues or brainstorm opportunities;
- Share resources that the City or local organizations have to offer - from funding opportunities to programs that support your community's needs or interests;
- Help you work with City departments to get the information you need;
- Connect specific communities to the Mayor's Office and City departments to share insights and communicate concerns.

Community Organizations and Neighborhoods
Seattle has many community organizations that welcome your participation. The following documents, organized by Seattle City Council District, list some of those groups and include a list of the neighborhoods that are generally considered part of each District. Bear in mind, neighborhoods are personal ideas. These lists are not authoritative; they provide starting point for understanding Seattle neighborhoods.
