Resolving a Warrant
Request to Recall ("Quash") a Warrant
If you have a warrant in your case, you can schedule a hearing to ask a judge to recall ("quash") the warrant. Hearings are offered virtually by video or by phone. We encourage you to contact an attorney so they can help you schedule the hearing.
If you are not represented by an attorney, you may complete this Motion to Quash Warrant form.
Please make sure the court has your current mailing address. When you submit the Motion to Quash Warrant form, the court will respond to you either by email or by mail. You can update your mailing address by calling (206) 684-5600.
If you don't know your case number or the name of your attorney, you can look it up using our online case file portal. Search by your name or by case number.
Contact Your Public Defender
If you previously had an attorney, please contact them first to see if they can still represent you.
If you had a public defender, please call the assigned agency or if you don't know it, contact their administrative offices. To see if you qualify for a public defender to be assigned to your case, visit the Obtaining a Public Defender page for more information.
