Community Benefits

  • This work is needed to permanently restore the electrical infrastructure along 35th Avenue NE.

Anticipated Impacts

  • Crews will be trenching on the east side of 35th Avenue NE, near NE 110th Street. The trench work will impact the street, sidewalk and planting strip.

  • Crews will work closely with the Seattle Department of Transportation's (SDOT) Urban Forestry group to ensure the protection of trees. SDOT staff may be onsite to monitor this work.
  • Some noise is expected during construction.
  • Maintenance power outages are required to do the work safely. Affected customers will be notified in advance of any planned outage.

  • Construction Start: Nov. 9, 2020
  • Duration: Approximately eight weeks
  • Daily Work Schedule: Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Some weekend work may be needed.
